We went with our kids for four days. The house is cozy log cabin vibes with all the modern necessities. House was super clean and well stocked. Scott was super easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. My kids loved making fires in the fire pit and exploring all the outdoor space. Would definitely stay here again!

Can I just start by saying WOW! When my family and I saw the listing we were in awww over how beautiful the house looked in the pictures but I have to say they do it no justice. We were blown away when we walked through the door. It’s much larger, much more beautiful and even more inviting… The attention to detail is excellent. This house exceeded our expectations in ever way! A definite must if you plan on visiting the area… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful getaway with our kids at this amazing cabin. We’ve been doing Airbnb for summer vacations the past few years in the Northeast and this place was by far the best and nicest we’ve stayed at. Super clean and modern and the pictures don’t quite do it justice. Scott was always quick to respond and even stopped by to see if we needed anything. He recommended some great swimming spots and local things to see and do for the family. We would love to spend more time in this and plan to come back.

My family spent a week at this property in April, as a getaway from NYC. The house is in an ideal location in the Adirondacks and is close to Lake George, Gore Mountain and many other great spots. The house is just as it appears in the photographs. It was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. In addition to taking advantage of the great hiking trails near the house, we made good use of the fireplace, outdoor fire pit and the wood burning stove. We especially enjoyed cooking in the large and well equipped kitchen. The owner and local host are among the very best I’ve met via AirBnB. Communication was quick and friendly. It so happened that there was a late season winter storm during our stay and power in the region briefly went out. During that time they went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed to continue enjoying our stay. I would recommend this property, without hesitation, to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay in the Adirondacks.

WONDERFUL STAY!!

My family stayed at this beautiful home for a long weekend of skiing at Gore and had a wonderful time. The house is extremely clean and well stocked. Scott, the property manager, was so helpful. He showed us how to start the wood burning stove and gave us great recommendations for exploring the area including the H'art gallery, Barkeater Chocholate shop and others. We will definitely be returning.

Just magic

Recently refurbished, this property is simply fantastic. There are 2 great fire places in an amazing wood surrounding. Property is 15 minutes drive from the Gore mountain ski resort. Many thanks to the landlord and manager for their welcome and friendliness. One of the best stays we had in the Adirondack.

Fantastic stay!

Beautiful property; comfortable all around; every detail has been considered; everything was spotless; very close to Gore Mountain; everyone (ages 3, 4, 6, 7 plus two sets of parents - age not necessary) enjoyed their stay!

This is a wonderful home and sits on a totally private and beautiful piece of property. We were the 1st guests and the house did not disappoint for a winter stay. We are a family of 5 so everyone was able to have their own bedroom and it probably could sleep a few more. To begin with, Tom is an attentive host who filled us in on the impending weather and had the driveway sanded and called several days before to make contingencies for us to get up the private road/driveway if needed though it was simple in our SUV. Scott was available for any concerns and answered a few of my dumb questions though we had no issues of concern. As soon as we pulled up we felt right at home with snow all over the property, and a rack of firewood welcoming us. We ran the fireplace each day and it warmed the living room very well which also had a smart tv with Netflix, Disney, amazon allowing us to watch some family movies. There is an area with board games, cards, etc and we left a puzzle to contribute. The kitchen has everything you would need. Full sets of dishes, good knives, wine and beer glasses and plenty of food storage containers as well as spices and all basics. There was a Keurig with Dunkin coffee pods that got a lot of use. We cooked up a storm and with a semi-open floor plan could be in touch with those in the wonderful dining room and living room. The bedrooms were all set up with awesome beds and pillows as well as warm comforters. While there was no heat to the two upstairs bedrooms, there were space heaters that we did not need to use. The stove was high-end and got lots of uses and has a new dishwasher and washer/dryer was great. The walk-in shower and jacuzzi were awesome with no hot water shortage once it got going. Outside was gorgeous in the winter. There is a hill up to a pond and a fire pit near the gazebo. We had a few great days by the firepit with plenty of seating available. We didn't skate on the pond as it was not deep into winter, but it was frozen over nicely. We only saw deer a few times, but plenty of tracks each day. There is a set of Adirondack chairs closer to the house that we recommended a small fire pit for as well in case you don't feel like the trek up the hill in the snow. While we literally didn't go anywhere, Gore Mountain is about 15 minutes away though I believe the towns for groceries are a bit further. Again, there were so many supplies that we didn't need anything at all. Overall, we had a great stay and we highly recommend this home in the winter and am sure it is gorgeous come summer.

The house was so beautiful, it sits on a nice hill with a 360 gorgeous view overlooking the mountains. My family and I stayed here over the weekend and can't say enough how clean, beautiful, enjoyable and how much we all loved this house. The house was pretty new and very well furnished and equipped, the kitchen had everything it needed and more. Scott who runs the house was amazing and very nice, and very responsive. The house and the owners deserve a higher rating than 5 stars. I would give them 10 if there was an option. Can't wait to be back in the summertime.

WOW! Private Lodge on 50 acres. 15 min to Gore

What a stunning spot for a group or multi-family gathering. We took our young children, along with our cousins’ family and had an absolute blast! If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, relaxing getaway, Thomas’ spot is the place to be. The house is equipped with everything you need and the property is just stunning! We will definitely be making the trip again!
